Enjoy Japan

Tonsil update: They're still here. In fact, they're getting the start tonight.

Yesterday I sent a text message to my co-teacher from the KTX train on my way back to Daegu from Busan from Japan. "i made it back, see you tomorrow." I said. "welcome back!" he writes. "U can stay at home and rlx, the 2nd semester srts nxt week." My co-teacher has such a strong grasp on the English language that he even uses text slang that I've never seen before. Since I was on an early train, I took this message to mean "You don't need to come in today, I'll see you tomorrow, when you agreed to return from your vacation." However, as I sit in my office, I am beginning to suspect that I am the only one in the building right now. A short walk downstairs to my co-teacher's shared office only informed me that I'm probably right. Dark and locked. I saw one teacher outside this morning, but I think he's a janitor. So as you could may gather, I have some time to share some pictures of my Japan adventure. I'm a bit peeved that I had to leave earlier that my travel companions because I was told I needed to be back on the 18th. Apparently they must have meant that if I come back on the 18th I'm retarded because no one will be here. Sometimes things get lost in translation. Anywho, enjoy this small sampling of photos taken from my massive facebook album.

We slept mostly in PC rooms. Cheap cheap!

You heard the man. Break it down.

Ferry back to Korea.

Japan in the books for August. Next up, Pyongyang in September for Chuseok. I may not be so lucky in getting back to South Korea that time around. Keep Clinton in your speed dials for me.

Now I'm going to see if the vice principal is here. If he's not, I'm out.

As always, thanks for reading/looking.
