But if I wasn't, you wouldn't get to see what it's like to be in a country that not only is in the World Cup, but also cares that it's in the World Cup. My thanks to Adam, Gina, and Joel. I stole your pictures.

It's Korean tradition to shoot off fireworks over Queen's "We are the Champions" before the game, which isn't a championship game, commences.

Remember 1776.

The USA/England match ended at 6am local time. Here are two Canadians and a Korean that remained loyal to the queen. Bollocks.
In other news, school has me doing work now, and lots of it. Gone are the "Costanza Days" where I could show up to work with little knowledge of why I was hired, sit at a desk for eight hours, and go home. A shame too. I got really good at this. Unfortunately for Korean high school students, June exists. Their portfolios are due, they have a group presentation, and an individual interview, all just in my class. Their week-long suicide-inducing exams are at the end of this month as well. Now I actually have to take things home with me to finish. It's definitely far away from rigging-office-door-to-emit-subtle-noise-to-wake-me-when-someone-opens-it on the workload spectrum.
